Our base in Lanjaron provides easy access to to great riding in the Sierra Nevada, mainland Spain's highest range of mountains with some peaks at over 3400m!

Rides which include a 114km 'descent' to the coast at Castell de Ferro taking in the peak of Valleta which is over 3400m high

The reason we chose to base ourselves in Lanjaron is simple...Everything is easy to get to, including other great ride spots like Trevelez, Bubion, Granada and the coast - we're in the middle of them all!

We have been riding these trails for over 7 years and are continually finding more. Professional, experienced and safe.

Lanjaron ia a picturesque spa town made famous throughout Spain by its mineral water. Lanjaron is a popular destination for Spanish holiday makers and is scattered with some great little bars, shops and restaurants.

Your accommodation at Freeridespain is near the center of Lanjaron in a beautiful Rural villa with fantastic views of Lanjaron and the imposing valley below. Just 5 minutes walk to the nearest bars, restaurants and supermarket. Quiet, private and relaxing. The pictures below don't do this great location justice!

Perfectly situated for quick and easy access to the Alpujarras mountain range as well as the Sierra Nevada.

Granada only 30 minutes away
The very 'chic' town of Granada is 30 minutes by car. An essential place to see for all who visit. Great tapas bars, food and bursting with culture and history.

Finish rides at the beach!
The coast is 40 minutes by car and we finish some rides there. A great place to soak up some sun and have a cold beer after over 2500m of descending!

Great local tapas bars...
This is traditional Spain's charm, with each alcoholic drink purchased you are given a small 'racion' of food. Of course, we know all the best bars!

Private pool during summer...
There is a selection of swimming pools to choose from in Lanjaron, depending on if you want to be by a pool with a bar or you can just use the Villas private pool which is quiet and filled with natural spring water from the Sierra Nevada! A good natural recovery to help those aching legs prepare for the next days singletrack..If you want!
